End Of A Class

Today was the final day of year 12 classes.  I am truly blessed to be in my job.  I work at a school where I am surrounded by amazing people.  My students enrich my life and I have truly loved teaching this years year 12s (as well as all my other kids too!).  I had most of them last year for year 11 maths, and have had lots of them in my psychology class this year.  There is only 1 student graduating that I haven’t actually taught.  One of the wonderful things about teaching at a small school is that you get to know your students so well.  You get to know who they are, what they love, what lights them up.  I have loved getting to know these kids and being a part of their lives.  They’re fantastic people and I can’t wait to see what else they do with their energies.

It won’t be the same without them around, but I pray that they will love life and be successful and happy in whatever path they choose.
